test Online school competition IT Challenge, held by Lviv Polytechnic National University together with Lviv IT Cluster and Lviv City Council, is already on the third, last stage. Students are working on practical projects, and the Cluster guarantees that the winning one will get awesome prizes.
IT Challenge takes place annually since 2013 and consists of 3 stages. The two online stages are already finished. Now it is time for the last one – the practical one. Students have to think of a project and successfully defend it. This year’s topic is Smart City. The deadline for submitting projects is April 20.
Professionals from the leading Lviv IT companies together with teachers from Lviv Polytechnic National University will be evaluating the projects. The creativity of an idea and how well was it implemented, as well as the quality of presentation will be the most important factors in the evaluation. Presentation of projects will take place at the end of April – in the beginning of May.
Lviv IT Cluster is going to award a scholarship for a winner of the competition, while the winning school will get a brand new computer lab.
Last year a student for Lviv gymnasium Yevshan, Andriy Zavoyko won the competition. As a prize, he received a 10 thousand UAH scholarship, and a computer lab with an interactive board for his school. Other participants of the competition received presents from Lviv IT companies.
