World Tech Media Gather in Lviv

Tomorrow, on July 27, a press tour for journalists from Poland, Belarus, Romania, Belgium, and the UK will start in Lviv. The press tour is organized by Lviv IT Cluster and aims to show international journalists the tech scene and the development of IT industry in the city and tell more about the biggest tech event in Ukraine – IT Arena.

During three days, journalists from famous tech magazines such as TechCrunch, Dev.by, Tech.wp.pl, PROFM, Zdnet, and Datanews.be will visit presentations in the biggest IT companies in Lviv, meet representatives of the IT department at Lviv City Council as well as some of the aspiring startups based here. The tour will cover topics like cooperation with the government, the startup scene, investments, cybersecurity, tech education, and much more.

In particular, Mike Butcher, Editor-at-Large of TechCrunch Europe will take part in the press tour. Mike will also visit Lviv in September to speak at the biggest tech conference of Eastern Europe – IT Arena. The journalist will give a speech about the future of technology, perspectives of developing the IT industry in Ukraine, and the place of Ukraine in the world of technology.
