Lviv IT Cluster is actively involved in developing education. In September four new innovative educational programs will start at the universities in Lviv. We’ve decided to remind you about them during the university admission process 2017.

Data Science is the third new program, created by Lviv IT Cluster together with Lviv universities. Data Science is an interdisciplinary field of Computer Science, where the methods of data analytics are used to get more information and knowledge from the Big Data. This field is closely related to such fields as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data etc. The program will be designed for two groups of students with 25 scholarships. After the second year of the program, students will have internships at IT companies in Lviv, where they will work on real projects together with IT professionals.

Bachelor’s Program in Artificial Intelligence is a new program of Lviv IT Cluster which will be launched at Lviv Polytechnic in September. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an area of Computer Science which focuses on computers simulating human’s intellect, including thinking, identifying and self-educating. Students of the AI program will study some new subjects as Machine Learning, Data Visualisation, Robototechnic, Human and Computer Interaction etc.
Data Science & Intelligent Systems

Bachelor’s Program in Data Science & Intelligent Systems will also be launched in September. During the second year, students will be able to choose between four directions: Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence, Data Analysis, Internet of Things and Smart Solutions & Intelligent Systems. Students will learn how to develop computer systems for identifying human language; how to build autopilots for cars and planes; models which will make decisions on what type of a product or service will be offered to clients depending on their interests and so on. There will be 5 scholarships for the best students provided by WNISEF.
