N-iX, During this week, the World Economic Forum is taking place in Davos, an Alpine town in Switzerland. IT companies, including Lviv IT Cluster’s members, will represent Ukrainian IT industry at panel discussions at Ukraine House Davos.
For the first time during the years of this event, Ukraine will be presented within Ukraine House Davos. It’s a platform for discussing the trendiest topics, such as IT industry, innovations and the future technologies. The motto of Ukraine House Davos is “Creativity. Innovation. Opportunity”. This is exactly what Ukraine will focus on at the World Economic Forum. During the week, Ukraine House Davos will host 15 events, including panel discussions about global tech hubs, data science, blockchain, venture capital, startups, etc.

Vitaliy Sedler, CEO at Lviv company Intellias shares his impressions about the World Economic Forum: “Such platform is a good opportunity for optimistic positioning of Ukraine in the context of global economy and politics. Today, on January 24, the discussion about Data Science will take place at the Ukraine House Davos. Ukrainian IT companies will participate in this event too. The topic is very relevant for my company the same way as it is for the whole Ukrainian IT industry. World Economic Forum – is an organization, based in Geneva which organizes the Forum in Davos every year since 1971. Annually the event is visited by more than 2500 entrepreneurs and politicians from all over the world to discuss the most pressing issues the world is facing.
This year, Donald Trump will visit the event and give a speech on January, 26. Among others famous politicians – PM of Canada Justin Trudeau, Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, President of France Emmanuel Macron, PM of the UK Theresa May, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and many others.
