Lviv IT Cluster together with the sociological agency FAMA has launched the first stage of the independent analytical study IT Research 3.0. The research aims to calculate the economic impact which the IT industry has on the city. We encourage everybody who works in Lviv IT industry to contribute by completing a short survey.
To complete the first stage we need 1000 people to fill out the survey forms responses. This means that one out of 20 IT professionals in Lviv has to take part in the research. If you work in the IT industry in Lviv we kindly ask you to participate in the survey and fill in a short form, which only takes 15-20 minutes. The form is available via the link.

This year’s IT Research aims to analyze the economic effect of IT industry, in particular, how local business revenues are impacted by Lviv-based IT companies and employees, for instance, real estate, healthcare, insurance industries etc. The study will also focus on measuring the spendings of individual IT employees, namely investments, shopping, real estate, leisure, transporting.
In addition, the research will help to understand the dynamics of the IT industry: update information about the number of IT companies and IT employees in the city since the industry is constantly growing. According to the previous IT Researches completed in 2016-2017, there were 25 000 IT employees in Lviv and 247 IT companies operating in the city.
The results of IT Research 3.0 will be presented by the end of the year.
