27 Mar, 2018

Lviv IT Cluster is about to start visiting schools in Lviv and the region with promotional lectures about the IT industry for high school students. The new season of IT Future project starts this week, aiming to visit the record number of schools yet.

The project aims to promote IT among students. It consists of presentations for high school students with useful information, insights of the industry, career opportunities, as well as which universities, faculties, and programs, offer IT education.

IT Future gives an opportunity to share info about the industry with student’s who otherwise won’t be able to get it, and to help them decide which career path to take,” says Khrystyna Martynyak, Project Manager at Lviv IT Cluster. “It’s great to see students eagerly learning something new as well as those who’re already interested in technology and ask indeed serious questions.”

In 2018, Lviv IT Cluster is planning to visit 150 schools in Lviv and the region. These are the schools in Stryi, Drohobych, Morshyn, Truskavets, Brody, Boryslav, Zhovkva, Skole, Chervonohrad, Horodok.

In addition, the new website of the project will be available soon, with all the information about the Cluster’s educational initiatives, projects for students and future professional opportunities. After registering on the webpage, students will have a chance to participate in a giveaway and win great gifts (more info will be told during the IT Future presentation).

IT Future will last for a few months in spring and autumn with a pause during summer holidays. Stay up to date with the news at your school and don’t miss the meeting with Lviv IT Cluster.
