SoftServe’s Co-Founder Taras Kytsmey Joined the Board of European Business Association

On November 20 in Kyiv, the members of the European Business Association gathered for the annual general meeting, where the results of Board elections were announced.

Taras Kytsmey, co-founder and Board member SoftServe Inc., joined the Association’s Board of Directors. In this new role, he aims to support and accelerate the growth of IT industry in Ukraine.“For the next three years, Ukraine will be going through another round of political elite rotation, as we will choose a new President, the MPs and local authorities. The outcomes of it hold both, opportunities for business community and threats challenging a fragile progress that we’ve witnessed so far”, he says. “I believe that EBA is effective in cementing all the positive shifts that stabilized Ukraine’s economy and designing the strategic ways and solutions strengthening it further. Being the insider of the IT sector, one of the critical and strategic industries for our state, my contribution would be the supporting and furthering of positive transformations in this business segment”.The Board of Directors was also enhanced by newly elected members coming from the leading enterprises, such as EY, ING Bank Ukraine, International Finance Corporation, Mastercard Europe, METRO Cash and Carry Ukraine, Nestle Ukraine, Siemens Ukraine.
