The Lviv IT Cluster team is looking for a Senior Lawyer with relevant experience who will work tirelessly to protect the legal interests of the community and its member companies. We are looking for a practicing lawyer who is a team player, interested in the tech industry, and understands that law is power.

We really want you to have:

• Seven years of work experience in the specialty
• Specialization in commercial and contract law, knowledge of personal data protection (GDPR, CCPA, UK GDPR)
• Experience in corporate services, supporting international tech projects, building international structures, and compliance procedures will be an advantage.
• Higher education – Master in Law from one of the reputable Ukrainian or foreign universities
• Interest in innovations, the tech industry, and their legal regulation
• Skills in legal writing and generating documents
• A sense of the aesthetics of law
• Resistance to challenges, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Desire to be a team player and to grow professionally
• Impeccably written literacy (Ukrainian, English)
• Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level of English 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and keeping up to date with the changes in Ukrainian and foreign legislation
• Support for companies in compelling Controlled Foreign Company (CFC) reports, building cross-border structures, registering IP-box, consulting Individual Entrepreneurs and Legal Entities on special regimes like e-nomad, Diia.City, etc.
• Legal assistance and performing tasks as part of a legal team to provide comprehensive in-house support for IT companies
• Accurate and timely consulting on various legal issues related to the work of the tech company, support of the tech company activities
• Developing and amending legal instructions, policies, and internal corporate standards (in Ukrainian and English)
• Drafting and reviewing service agreements, contracts, data processing agreements, and other legal documents (in Ukrainian and English)
• Consulting on various legal issues related to company activities
• Research and risk assessment of the business decisions and operations through data analysis obtained while providing services.
