In particular, these are such projects \u2013 <\/span><b>People counting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (sensors that are installed at the entrance of the room to track the number of people), <\/span><b>Biosense<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (a unique technology that helps to measure a person\u2019s pulse, heartbeat thanks to a smartphone or computer camera \u2013 the technology is based on the analysis of pixels of a person\u2019s image from the camera), <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.touchlessai.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>TouchlessAI<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (a technology that aims to reproduce tactile sensations at a distance \u2013 based on neurocognitive models using a special AI model).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The award-winning solutions are being developed by the company\u2019s R&amp;D department, which provides high-tech developments and scientific research.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Covid-19 has accelerated the implementation of sensor technologies and solutions that allow social interaction at a distance. The video provides an opportunity to see a person on the other side of the planet and read the person\u2019s vital indicators, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, or facial micro-expressions. Before the pandemic, our focus was on the future of telemedicine or safety in production, today these technologies are important for use in the social sphere, allowing people to feel each other better during teleconferences<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">,\u201d \u2013 comments <\/span><b>Mykola Maksymenko<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, R&amp;D Director, SoftServe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>People counting and Biosense projects are already piloted by the company\u2019s customers in the retail and telemedicine segment. The TouchlessAI project received funding from the European Union\u2019s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
