SoftServe is awarded by the American consulting agency Brandon Hall Group for a unique learning ecosystem focused on the personal development of the associates.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

SoftServe has won Gold in the Best Advance in Coaching and Mentoring nomination at the prestigious 2021 Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Leadership Development Awards. The company implements mentoring and coaching practices that help develop employees, gain new competencies, and strengthen leaders within the company.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Individually oriented learning at SoftServe is part of the corporate educational ecosystem. SoftServe University provides educational solutions in 22 different formats. Along with training, long-term programs, and e-courses, mentoring and coaching allow the associates to gain new knowledge and experience much faster. It also allows to improve the performance of employees, develop efficiency, and most importantly, satisfy the individual educational need, which is not always possible in group learning. In addition, mentoring and coaching allow associates to contextualize the knowledge to precisely obtain those necessary in the company. Along with SoftServe, Bank of America, Google Cloud, McKinsey, TD Bank, and Tata Consultancy were awarded in the same nomination.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe started to launch such instruments as mentoring and coaching around seven years ago. Mentoring covers the complex and individual needs of the associates, especially self-development. It\u2019s a very effective and flexible way to get new knowledge and skills together with a colleague, who is more experienced. In a fast-growing company, mentoring allows getting not only the competencies and best practices but also to develop corporate culture. Because a mentor is a role model and example to follow as well as a person who supports you and gives you a chance to feel yourself part of the company. At the same time, coaching is the instrument for development and an important part of leadership development. We\u2019ve focused on these two priorities \u2013 we allow working with the best-certified coaches individually and we teach company leaders to be coaches for their teams. 99% of our mentors and coaches are company employees. SoftServe currently has over 1,000 active mentoring and coaching pairs. Every hour, the company registers a new mentor-mentee pair. At the same time, the growth in the number of mentors for the last 12 months was 67%. Among the mentors are the company\u2019s Co-Founders and Board Members, the CEO and his team. Mostly the Senior and Lead level employees involved in the developments of the colleagues. Coaching in the company is global thanks to a network of certified internal coaches conducting sessions in English, Ukrainian, Polish and Bulgarian. In addition, the company is a business partner of the International Coaching Federation.
