The association pays great attention to education. Lviv IT Cluster has already modernized or launched from scratch 14 Bachelor\u2019s degree programs in local universities that allow students to get the tech skills that are required by the market needs.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lviv IT Cluster member companies are actively involved in the association\u2019s educational projects. It is an excellent opportunity to strengthen their brand awareness and be in contact with students who might want to join their companies in the future. Companies\u2019 current employees can also develop new skills by becoming mentors or teaching a specific course at a degree program. Thanks to the active support of Lviv IT Cluster member companies and partners, the association is about to launch three new Bachelor\u2019s degree programs at local universities: two at Lviv Polytechnic National University and one at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Bachelor\u2019s Program in IT Sales Management<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><\/b><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.2px;\">The first Bachelor\u2019s degree program was launched at the Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies of Lviv Polytechnic National University. The profession of IT Sales Manager is in high demand in the modern market. After finishing the program, graduates will understand customers\u2019 diverse and specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet them. The program offers an opportunity to choose between three professions: pre-sales, sales, and post-sales. IT Sales Management program was launched thanks to the cooperation between the university teachers and IT specialists of the Lviv IT Cluster member companies involved in curriculum development.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><b>Igor Luzhanskyi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, founder of Chatbots.Studio, shared his thoughts about the program:<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cFortunately, we have a strong engineering school in the country, which allows us to do great projects, but we still need to work on our client relations and sales skills. For me,\u00a0 as the IT company owner, this was one of the primary reasons to initiate a degree program that would train high-quality specialists in IT sales. The educational program stands out from others by combining training in basic mathematical subjects and courses in modern information systems and technologies, carried out by highly qualified professors and representatives from the leading IT companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><b>Oksana Tomyak<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Business Analyst at Perfectial shares: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIT project management has many nuances and features that require specific knowledge, and still most project managers in the industry are self-taught. To solve this problem, we decided to develop a comprehensive program combining in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The program is interesting because it is based on the experience and knowledge of professional managers. Representatives of the leading IT companies participate in the organization process: GlobalLogic, Infineon <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Technologies<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Dialog Semiconductor. In Ukraine, we have low investment requirements, therefore, the software industry has developed much faster. Still, similarly to the rest of the world, we experience a shortage of engineers who can develop and design electronic devices and systems. In the West, this specialty is traditionally called electrical engineering, here <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> electronics.
