26 students of the IT Generation project have already finished their studies. 21 of them studied HR\/Recruitment at the A-Level school, another 5 \u2013 Business Analytics specialty at the IAMRM school.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The first graduates are already making the first steps in the IT industry. For example, student Olha Korneeva studied to become a recruiter. Having dreamed of a profession in a promising tech field, in the summer Olha applied for the IT Generation project. Olha applied to 8 schools and was admitted to one of them. Previously, she worked as an English teacher. After completing the course, Olha holds the position of IT Researcher at Forte Group.

\n\u201cMy expectations from the study were met. It was interesting to get to know a completely new world of tech. It\u2019s especially cool that real professionals share their experience and expertise of the field. Thanks to the project, I already have the skills and have been working in tech for a little over a month,\u201d <\/span><\/i>says <\/span>Olha Korneeva<\/b>.<\/span><\/i><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Oleksandra Dorokhova who studied Business Analytics, has also received an offer. Before the project, she worked in finance. Oleksandra decided to apply for IT Generation, because she wanted to gain experience in a field close to her background.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cThe project gave me an understanding of how a business analyst works, helped me figure out the list of tools that I, as a marketing analyst, can use in my work to interact more effectively with clients and plan my own time and the time of the team,\u201d <\/span><\/i>said <\/span>Oleksandra Dorokhova<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

By the end of December, <\/span>29 students<\/b> will complete their studies in HR\/Recruitment at Source IT and Sigma Software schools. In total, <\/span>2,200 students<\/b> are currently studying within the IT Generation project in <\/span>21 schools<\/b> and in <\/span>12 domains<\/b>. The studies will be completed by May.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe Lviv IT Cluster reviewed the documents of all IT Generation applicants for compliance with the program\u2019s selection criteria. We cheer for everyone who got the opportunity to participate in the project. And we couldn\u2019t be more happy that some of the graduates have already managed to find a job in IT. We continue to monitor the progress of studies, and conduct surveys among students and graduates. In particular, we are interested in whether the students\u2019 expectations from the project have been met, and whether the quality of education satisfies them. We also communicate with schools and partners to improve recruitment for the next year, learning what mechanisms to apply in order to carry out a better selection of both schools and students\u201d<\/span><\/i>, says <\/span>Julia Tsymbala<\/b>, Lviv IT Cluster\u2019s Education Lead.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For the reference, citizens of Ukraine aged 21 to 60 who do not hold formal education and do not have qualifications and experience in IT could take part in the project.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
