On October 16, Abto Software has opened the Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (room 119 a) at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics at\u00a0<\/span>Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The founders of the company, as well as most of Abto Software\u2019s employees, are the graduates of this faculty. The Laboratory has 13 PC, a projector, a screen, a whiteboard, and a new glass partition.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the speech of Ivan Dyak, the dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, he mentioned that this Laboratory symbolizes the start of cooperation.<\/span>\u201cI hope that students will have an enormous interest in their studies. I truly believe that these initiatives will have a positive impact on the students\u2019 development ,\u201d<\/span><\/i> stated Ivan Dyak.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Oleksandr Muzychuk said that the company will continue the development of the educational ecosystem.<\/span>\u201cI dream about the active cooperation between education and business. That kind of system I saw at the Eindhoven University of Technology, where I had been working as the scientist of Postmaster Program. I would like to see how this efficient ecosystem will be implementing at LNU. In this case, the university needs to have modern equipment, courses, and the best teachers to train qualified specialists,\u201d<\/span><\/i> added Oleksandr Muzychuk, CEO of Abto Software.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The L&D manager, Vira Kachkovska, was speaking about the current plans for this semester. <\/span>\u201cWe will continue to organize lectures and workshops in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence. And this year, for the first time, we have launched a <\/span><\/i>mentorship program<\/span><\/i><\/a>. That\u2019s why everyone who wants to explore the topics in AI, CV, and ML can join the program. So, they will work with our mentors on the practical part of their Term papers or Master thesis\u201d<\/span><\/i>, mentioned Vira.<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides, Abto Software took part in various students\u2019 initiatives and sponsored the students\u2019 programming competitions. Abto Software also has the AI&CV Summer Camp, which includes practical and theoretical elements. The internship is coordinated by experienced scientists.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
