Over 8,000 prospective students applied to study at degree programs launched by Lviv IT Cluster. The most popular programs this year are Internet of Things, Cybersecurity, and Computer Science. July, 22 was the last day to submit your application. Let\u2019s find out what programs were the most attractive for future students.<\/span><\/i>

\n<\/b><\/p>\n

Lviv Polytechnic National University<\/h3>\n

<\/b>
\nLviv Polytechnic National University was the most popular choice among future students. More than 5,000 school graduates applied for Lviv IT Cluster Bachelor Programs.<\/span>
\nThe <\/span>Internet of Things<\/span><\/a> program received <\/span>709 applications, while the maximum number of students who can be admitted to the program is 150. The BSc in Computer Science was even more popular \u2013 it received a total of 2,314 applications. Some of the admitted students (120-130) \u2013 will be able to study <\/span>Artificial Intelligence<\/span><\/a>. 664 students applied for <\/span>Business Analytics & Data Science<\/span><\/a>, which can only offer admission to 100 students. The Bachelor Program in Robotics attracted only <\/span>122 future students.<\/span><\/p>\n

1257 applications were sent to <\/span>Cybersecurity program<\/span><\/a>. However, the program also can offer admission to only 230 students, which means that 5,4 applicants will compete for the entry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ivan Franko National University of Lviv<\/h3>\n

<\/b>
\nIn general, 2,953 applications were received at Lviv IT Cluster programs at\u00a0 Ivan Franko Lviv National University.
\n<\/span>
\nThe Bachelor Program in <\/span>Cybersecurity<\/span><\/a> can only offer admission to 60 students, but the number of applications received equaled 267. The BSc in <\/span>Software Engineering<\/span><\/a> was also popular with 458 applications. Only 56 prospective students decided to apply for <\/span>Statistics and Data Science<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>
\nSensor and Analytical systems<\/span><\/a> program attracted 147 applicants, and the first specialization in the direction of <\/span>HR Management in Public Authorities and Business<\/span><\/a> drew the attention of 302 school graduates.
\n<\/span>
\nBy the way, all these 5 programs were recently launched in cooperation of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and Lviv IT Cluster. It\u2019s the first time the programs receive applications.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program in <\/span>Data Science & Analytical Systems<\/span><\/a> is among top three most popular Cluster programs at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. With the admission capacity of 180 students only, it has received 483 applications. Thus, 2,6 students are competing for one admission.<\/span>
\nWith 492 applications, <\/span>Data Science<\/span><\/a> comes second. The admission is limited to 85 students, meaning, that out of 5,7 students, only one will make the cut.\u00a0<\/span>
\nThe program in <\/span>Computer Science<\/span><\/a> was the most popular. 748 graduates submitted their applications to this program, with a total number of seats limited to 115. Six entrants will compete for one chair in the university <\/span>auditorium<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lviv State University of Life Safety<\/h3>\n

Lviv State University of Life Sciences received 163 applications for the BSc in <\/span>Cybersecurity<\/span><\/a>, but only 44 students will be able to study there.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every year innovative degree programs by Lviv IT Cluster are attracting more and more students. In comparison, last year 7,192 students applied for the programs, and this year this figure grew to 8,182. Therefore, we should expect an increase in high-quality tech professionals already in a few years.
