SoftServe<\/span><\/a>, a leading digital authority and consulting company, has just launched a long-lasting social initiative discounting the fees for all of its external educational events by 90% exclusively for students. The first event to be covered by this initiative is the <\/span>IT-Weekend Ukraine 2019<\/span><\/a>, one of the largest yearly IT conferences in Ukraine organized by SoftServe. To get a discount, the students only need to upload the scan copy of their student ID while purchasing the ticket.<\/span><\/p>\n

Annually, SoftServe holds nearly 150 educational conferences, meet-ups, and workshops in Ukraine, ranging in scale and topics. This initiative reserves 10% of all tickets of SoftServe\u2019s external educational events for the students to be purchased with 90% discount.<\/span><\/p>\n

By implementing this project, SoftServe advances one of the key directions of its CSR strategy which is to foster positive changes in IT education. It prioritizes a high-quality education that serves as the foundation for the development of both, IT industry and Ukraine\u2019s economy at large.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For more than ten years, SoftServe has been reaching and working with students through a variety of educational projects. Its flagman, SoftServe IT Academy offers short-term courses for the university graduates, where the later earn the entry-level skills and knowledge to start a career in IT. All the courses run by IT Academy are free for students; the best of them are offered a job in the company.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cShortly after the universities gained autonomy in designing their educational programs, we noticed a huge change when they started reforming educational programs together with the business community. A shift is particularly remarkable in IT-direction\u201d, says Andriy Pereymybida, Director of Talent Acceleration Center at SoftServe. \u201cYet, we\u2019ve decided to go beyond our activities at IT Academy and cooperation with the universities. We\u2019ve let the students join a massive amount of educational events that SoftServe runs for the industry insiders. That will definitely help the students to acquire new knowledge, and network with the most successful Ukrainian developers who\u2019ve made their choice to live and work here, in Ukraine\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

As expected, this initiative will enable 2000+ students to join SoftServe\u2019s educational projects and earn the knowledge useful for their professional growth and successful career start.<\/span><\/p>\n
