According to <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/itcluster.lviv.ua\/projects\/it-research-ukraine\/?modal=research-ukraine\"><em>IT Research Ukraine <\/em><\/a><em>data, <\/em><strong><em>93.6%<\/em><\/strong><em> of tech specialists allocate a portion of their earnings to charity, which is <\/em><strong><em>4.6%<\/em><\/strong><em> less than in 2022.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/itcluster.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/novyna-golovna.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45360\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, the average share of monthly expenditures on charity has decreased. In 2022, this equaled <strong>14%<\/strong>, and now \u2013 <strong>11%<\/strong>. 6.8% of respondents donate a quarter of their income. Last year, there were twice as many. The average donation for charity per tech specialist is <strong>$264<\/strong> or <strong>9,500<\/strong> UAH*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the research, tech specialists collectively contribute approximately <strong>$80 million <\/strong>monthly to charity, which is nearly <strong>3 billion UAH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1008\" src=\"https:\/\/itcluster.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/prezentacziya_it_research_ukraine_2023_bazova_eng_v_novinu-angl.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45366\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cEven in the most challenging times for the country, the tech industry demonstrates a high level of responsibility and social activity. According to IT Research Ukraine, 92% of tech companies provide financial support for projects that bring us closer to victory. Of these, 45% have already allocated funds to victory projects ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, 24% from $100,000 to $500,000, and another 17% have donated over $500,000. The Lviv IT Cluster, from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion, has actively engaged in assisting the state and initiated the Victory Projects initiative.
