The event was organized by the Ukrainian IT-company Intellias, together with the Lviv International Film Festival Wiz-Art.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main objective of the event was to encourage the Krak\u00f3w community to donate to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/voices.org.ua\/en\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Voices of Children<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> foundation and support Ukrainian children affected by the war.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program included such short films, as \u201cThe face\u201d, \u201cOne eye\u201d, \u201cEnter through the balcony\u201d, \u201cCarpet\u201d, and \u201cLenin-fall\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe\u2019ve watched the works of Ukrainian film directors, which present their view of Ukraine. These movies show us what Ukraine was like before the war. Currently, the whole world admires Ukrainian bravery. But hardly a lot of people understand where this bravery comes from. We wanted to demonstrate a small part of our culture. But we\u2019ve organized this event not just to watch movies, but to do a good thing \u2013 to raise money for the Ukrainian children affected by the war. We\u2019ve evacuated our specialists and their families from the dangerous areas, and we know for sure how hard it can be to flee your home\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, \u2013 says <\/span><b>Oleh Piskozub<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, delivery director at Intellias.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A short film \u201cLenin-fall\u201d was directed by the Intellias web developer, Svitlana Shymko. When the war started, she was in Kyiv and decided to evacuate to Poland.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI was in Kyiv when the war started. Like a million other Ukrainians, I was forced to leave my home. Now I\u2019m in Poland. When crossing the Polish border, I was amazed and touched by the Poles\u2019 solidarity, support, and genuine desire to help us. \u201cLenin-fall\u201d is an ironic documentary about saying goodbye to the Soviet legacy. Lenin\u2019s monuments used to stand at almost every Ukrainian square till 2016. After passing the law condemning the communist totalitarian regime, the campaign started to knock down the monuments. The movie resonates with what\u2019s going on in Ukraine now when Russia tries to force its view of the future back onto us\u201d,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> says\u00a0<b>Svitlana.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Intellias plans to continue organizing initiatives to support the victims of the war in Ukraine.
