Observing this , KOLO launched<a href=\"https:\/\/koloua.com\/vacation-prjct\" rel=\"noopener\"> an initiative<\/a> back in March 2024 that allows you to turn unused vacation days into help for the army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Our defenders can rarely take a vacation to see their families and take a break, so they need our support.<\/em> <em>Unfortunately, we can&#8217;t share our vacations with them, but we can turn unused vacations into donations and support our defenders with valuable devices that save lives.&#8221;<\/em> <strong><em>Yar Birzul, co-founder and CEO of KOLO Foundation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>However, companies that wanted to join the initiative faced the following problems:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Significant time investment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Difficulty in data processing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Convoluted calculations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The PeopleForce team realized that to make this initiative fully work, they need to help the companies organise the leave donation process. That\u2019s how PeopleForce and KOLO came up with the idea to join forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;We saw the opportunity to help companies eliminate operational restrictions and put their efforts into what matters most \u2014 donating and supporting the army. These companies are often familiar with KOLO, the largest charitable foundation in the Ukrainian tech community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KOLO provides all the materials needed to launch the initiative, while PeopleForce offers recommendations to promote it within teams.
