This May, <\/em>the Burner investment fund<\/em><\/a>, part of the <\/em>Boosta<\/em><\/a> ecosystem, celebrates its third anniversary. Over these years, the team has grown from an idea on slides to a fully-fledged player in the Private Equity and Venture Builder space.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn 2022, we started with just one person, no structure or legal entity \u2014 only Excel files and a vision. Today, we are a team of seven professionals, with a clear strategy, dozens of projects, and solid results,\u201d<\/em> says<\/strong> Yaroslav Svyrydiuk, <\/strong>Managing Partner at Burner.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The fund invests in B2C and B2C2C products with a focus on Western European and North American markets, where niche volumes exceed $300 million. Over the past three years, the team has invested in 16 projects,<\/strong> 12 of which remain active \u2014 and more than half of them are businesses launched within the new Venture Builder direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This approach has become one of the key shifts in the fund\u2019s operations. It enables Burner to build companies from scratch in partnership with ambitious founders who have relevant experience and want to scale fast. The fund provides not only capital but also operational support \u2014 including a team, expertise, and a strong network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burner\u2019s portfolio shows strong momentum: over the past year, the fund has exceeded its own targets by 1.5 times. That\u2019s why the team has set even more ambitious KPIs for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the near future, the fund plans to expand the team \u2014 they’re actively looking for investment managers, analysts, and growth managers. They also plan to continue investing, launching new co-founded businesses, and aim to become one of the top five venture builders and investment funds in Central Europe within their niche.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
