These programs cover Computer Engineering, Virtual Reality Systems, and Applied Mathematics &amp; Computer Science, and were developed jointly with experts from our association&#8217;s member tech companies as part of the IT Expert project.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/itcluster.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-60165\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bachelor\u2019s Degree Program in Virtual Reality Systems (F3)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies at Lviv Polytechnic National University is opening enrollment for the new Virtual Reality Systems educational program. Graduates of this program will be prepared for careers across AR and VR, from opportunities in game development to creating transformative tools for healthcare, education, manufacturing, and creative industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will learn how to create virtual worlds, master 3D modeling, and choose between two tracks: Digital Entertainment Technologies or XR Solutions for Enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cThis is future-oriented education for those who want to work in VR\/AR, game development, digital transformation, and startups. The curriculum is ideal for creative, technically minded young people who want to combine programming, design, analytics, and innovation,\u201d<\/em> says <strong>Uliana Marikutsa<\/strong>, Head of the Virtual Reality Systems Department.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The program was developed in close collaboration with tech companies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameloft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gameloft<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/tsukat.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tsukat<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/stepico.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stepico<\/a>. They design, test, and maintain computer systems, create embedded devices, improve data networks, and implement solutions using IoT and AI. In Ukraine, there is a notable shortage of such experts, as the field requires deep knowledge in both software and hardware, as well as strong foundations in mathematics and electronics. According to IT Research Ukraine 2024, only 8.3% of specialists work in the Hardware &amp; IoT domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Computer Engineering bachelor\u2019s degree program at Lviv Polytechnic covers the entire spectrum of knowledge future engineers need. Students will learn programming fundamentals and develop system and application software. This comprehensive training will enable graduates to work in fields related to the design, manufacturing, maintenance, and configuration of computer systems and networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cThe program provides fundamental knowledge about computer systems \u2014 both hardware and software. In the first years, students study both areas, which is a significant advantage,\u201d<\/em> emphasizes <strong>Roman Kochan<\/strong>, Head of the Specialized Computer Systems Department.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The program will be delivered at the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology. Students will gain fundamental skills that open career opportunities in various industries, including tech, business, finance, healthcare, energy, logistics, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cThe modern world is extremely fast-paced, new technologies emerge and disappear quickly, and the volume of information multiplies, often containing misinformation. To thrive in this world, you need a strong foundation, a commitment to lifelong learning, and the ability to analyze and use large volumes of data. Our program is an effective combination of solid mathematical training and practical tech skills,\u201d<\/em> notes <strong>Bohdan Markovych<\/strong>, Head of the Applied Mathematics Department.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>After graduation, students will be able to work as software developers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, DevOps engineers, and more. According to IT Research Ukraine 2024, software developers make up nearly half of all tech talent in Ukraine \u2014 42.8%. The research also shows that only 1% of professionals work in Deep Tech, despite the high demand. These specializations, which combine tech, engineering, and national security fields, will play a key role in the country\u2019s recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, this year, the Lviv IT Cluster\u2019s education team, together with partners, has completely updated the bachelor\u2019s program in Robotics at the Department of Information-Measuring Technologies at Lviv Polytechnic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cFor nine years in a row, we at Lviv IT Cluster have been working to ensure that young people receive modern, high-quality education that meets the real demands of Ukraine\u2019s tech market.
