{"id":61783,"date":"2025-10-06T16:02:41","date_gmt":"2025-10-06T13:02:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/itcluster.lviv.ua\/?p=61783"},"modified":"2025-10-06T16:05:31","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T13:05:31","slug":"from-idea-to-it-project-in-two-weeks-highlights-from-the-first-goit-hackathon-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itcluster.lviv.ua\/en\/from-idea-to-it-project-in-two-weeks-highlights-from-the-first-goit-hackathon-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"From Idea to IT Project in Two Weeks: Highlights from the First GoIT Hackathon 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>An administrative panel to support frontline communities, an app for sustainable housing, and startup concepts \u2014 GoIT Hackathon 2025 brought together 93 participants from various fields \u2014 from development to cybersecurity \u2014 into nine teams that, over two weeks, created practical IT solutions for the charitable organization InHarmony and their own startup projects.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The format gave students and graduates a chance to experience real-world conditions \u2014 with deadlines, team roles, and jury pitches \u2014 while partners got to see a new generation of IT professionals in action.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/itcluster.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/goit-hackathon_1-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61784\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At the final Demo Day, teams presented nine solutions evaluated by experts in UI\/UX, AI, product management, career consulting, and the non-profit sector. Among the jury were representatives from Grandia Solutions, AI HOUSE, Avrora Multimarket, and Neoversity. Their feedback confirmed that participants demonstrated a high level of technical and soft skills and showed readiness to tackle real challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Four teams were recognized by the jury in the following categories:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u201cBest Solution for InHarmony\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 for developing a user-friendly administrative panel with autonomous website management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cBest Open-Topic Project\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 for creating the charitable project <a href=\"https:\/\/eco-house-zeta.vercel.app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ECO HOUSE<\/strong><\/a>, which helps build affordable and eco-friendly housing for those who lost their homes, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/tails-finder.vercel.app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>TailsFinder<\/strong><\/a> online platform for quickly finding lost pets.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cPeople\u2019s Choice Award\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 for deep engagement in the InHarmony challenge and a sincere, passionate project presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The hackathon\u2019s partners included IT University Neoversity, Avrora Multimarket, AI community AI HOUSE, IT company Grandia Solutions, and the InHarmony charity organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe wanted to give participants not just a task, but an experience that mirrors real IT work. It\u2019s a chance to see yourself not as a student, but as a specialist \u2014 someone responsible for a product and its value. The hackathon became a space to experiment, make mistakes, and find solutions together \u2014 that\u2019s how real learning happens,\u201d \u2014 the <strong>organizers <\/strong>noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants had diverse backgrounds \u2014 from those just starting their studies to professionals with over two years of commercial experience. Teams were formed to combine different skill levels and disciplines, creating an atmosphere close to real work conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each participant received a certificate, special learning offers from <a href=\"https:\/\/goit.global\/ua\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GoIT<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/neoversity.com.ua\/?utm_medium=pr&amp;utm_source=news&amp;utm_content=partners\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Neoversity<\/a>, and gifts from partner companies. The most active and initiative participants will have the opportunity to intern at Grandia Solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>GoIT Hackathon 2025 became the first event of this format for the <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/goit.global\/ua\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>GoIT<\/em><\/a><em> student and alumni community. It was a space where education met business and social impact.
