That’s why Teamvoy decided to support Takflix, a Ukrainian streaming platform for independent Ukrainian films and documentaries, available to viewers worldwide.

Teamvoy says its role is not just to deliver technology, but also to support Ukrainian culture, ideas, and local initiatives when possible.

Meeting TAKFLIX

Takflix is a Ukrainian online cinema built for viewers inside Ukraine and for audiences abroad who want direct access to Ukrainian films.

The platform curates films that reflect Ukraine’s voice — stories about war, memory, identity, human resilience, humor, and everyday moments that feel personal, real, and locally rooted.

Takflix operates as a live cultural product, evolving year by year, testing content ideas, and growing its library.

It has become a bridge for Ukrainian filmmakers to meet audiences without intermediaries, and a space where Ukrainian films are protected, presented, and seen as the team intended — not rewritten by algorithms, trends, or outsiders.

Takflix & Teamvoy: How the partnership began

Last year, Takflix was looking for a reliable technical partner to provide long-term technical platform support and quickly respond to the company’s internal tech needs.

Teamvoy stepped into support Takflix on a volunteer basis, as it has never been more important to contribute to Ukrainian culture and promote it on the global market.

Teamvoy began working with Takflix as a technology advisor, helping maintain the platform’s stable performance. But later, as collaboration evolved, Teamvoy suggested running a small R&D experiment: automatically generating subtitles for Ukrainian-language videos using AI.

The main task of Teamvoy’s R&D department was to run an AI experiment using Takflix’s real-time data, measure its business results, and together decide whether to scale it.

An idea born in the workflow

After the first months of working together, Teamvoy became a technical advisor helping structure development requests and close platform-level tasks, leaving Takflix free to focus on films, not code errors.

But during regular work meetings, Teamvoy has suggested an idea: what if we try to generate subtitles faster and cheaper, without losing human control over quality?

The idea seemed to be valuable, so Teamvoy has decided to start with a small test first.

A small test instead of big commitments

The offer was simple: avoid early, large-scale claims or long build cycles, run a test with several videos to check ML-subtitle draft quality, measure edit time and real costs, then decide whether to scale.

Teamvoy handled the tech backbone, while Takflix took the most crucial step — live subtitle validation, with editors who understand Ukrainian speech, context, natural phrasing, and movie tone better than any model could alone.

Both teams agreed on a clear rule: if the test shows real daily-work value, the experiment can be repeated, carefully expanding to more videos, keeping people fully in control of the final text.

The first signal of ML readiness

When the subtitle generator was tested on real Ukrainian audio, it became clear that ML achieved around 85% accuracy before editor adjustments.

The model was not perfect, but it was controlled, corrected quickly, and, most importantly, editors did not rewrite everything from scratch; they only fixed parts where the audio was noisy or the phrasing felt artificial.

For the film platform, this became direct and measurable proof: subtitles can be prepared faster, at a lower cost for creators, while quality and final approvals remain in human hands.

The first results showed that the hypothesis holds when the process continues step by step, providing the model with more authentic Ukrainian speech practice and repeated review cycles.

A shared path forward

For Teamvoy, cooperation with Takflix is not a side hobby or a temporary interest.

It is an intentional decision to stand behind Ukrainian culture and provide it with strong technological support.

Taras Voytovych, CEO of Teamvoy, explains the meaning of this partnership simply:

“Supporting Ukrainian cinema helps us preserve our language, keep control of our own historical narrative, and bring local Ukrainian stories to audiences around the world — stories told with honesty, humor, grief, and courage.”

This cooperation evolved into more than technical support. It became a partnership based on shared intent — to keep Ukrainian films and stories easy to find, true to their voice, and understandable for global viewers.

Together, the teams prove one fundamental idea: when serious tech meets living culture, Ukrainian stories can reach further and stand firmer.

Most people in the tech world know TEAMVOY for serious industries such as banking, insurance, manufacturing, and healthcare.
