The event was organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg in cooperation with Unternehmer Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg e.V., Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg International, the Chambers of Industry and Commerce of the state, and VDMA Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, with support from the German-Ukrainian Forum e.V.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1800\" height=\"945\" src=\"https:\/\/itcluster.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/novyna-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-67449\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Photo credit: Unternehmer Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg\/Frank Eppler, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg International.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speakers and participants of the forum included Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg; H.E. Oleksii Makeiev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Germany; Khrystyna Zamula, Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration; G\u00fcnther H. Oettinger, former Vice President of the European Commission and former Minister President of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg; as well as representatives of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, VDMA, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Alfred K\u00e4rcher, Diehl Defence, Daimler Truck, Rolls-Royce Power Systems, MAHLE, and other German and international companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the panel &#8220;The Lviv Region \u2013 Opportunities Arising on the New Economic Partnership with Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg,&#8221; <strong>Svitlana Skrypka<\/strong>, <strong>Head of International Cooperation<\/strong> at <strong>Lviv IT Cluster<\/strong>, delivered a presentation. She spoke about Lviv region&#8217;s tech ecosystem and the Cluster&#8217;s key areas of work, noting that the number of tech specialists in Ukraine grew from 75,000 in 2014 to 303,000 in 2025 over the past decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Svitlana also presented <a href=\"https:\/\/itarena.ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IT Arena 2026<\/a> \u2014 Ukraine&#8217;s largest tech conference and a platform for building international partnerships, attracting investment, and developing business connections.
