Boosta Expands Its Investment Focus and Launches a Dedicated Rebels Fund

Boosta, a holding IT company, is expanding its investment division and separating its work with product-led IT businesses into a standalone brand — Rebels. The new fund is focused on launching and scaling B2C consumer-based products.

Boosta’s investment arm began in 2022 with the launch of Burner Investment Fund. Since then, the team has significantly expanded its portfolio, deepened its expertise, and scaled its work across different business models. Further growth made one thing clear: to move faster and operate more effectively, the investment activities needed a sharper focus.

Going forward, the investment directions will be split: Rebels will focus on product-led IT businesses, while Burner will continue developing the traffic-driven segment. This structure will allow both teams to strengthen their domain expertise and attract more relevant partners within their respective segments.

Rebels enters the market with a portfolio of more than 10 companies, over $20 million in invested capital, and a portfolio project survival rate of more than 80%. The fund will combine two investment models: venture building and private equity.

How Rebels Works

The key difference between Rebels and a traditional investor is its co-founder model. Rather than simply providing financial resources, the fund takes on part of the operational workload, allowing founders to focus on the product and the team.

  • In venture building, Rebels partners with people who have a strong track record in product businesses and the ambition to build a company with global potential, but who may not have all the resources needed to launch independently.
  • In private equity, the fund invests in businesses that already have a working product and need capital to scale or expand into new markets.

The fund’s priority geography is Tier-1 markets, including the US and Europe, while its business-model focus is on B2C consumer-based products.

What Businesses Get Beyond Capital

The Rebels team highlights several key advantages:

  • Operational infrastructure for launching and scaling
The fund provides not only capital but also operational support — from finance and legal to HR and recruitment.
  • Proprietary payment solution
New businesses within the ecosystem gain access to the fund’s payment solution, helping address part of the technical infrastructure needed at the early stages.
  • The scale of the ecosystem
Portfolio companies gain access to the holding’s network of 800+ specialists, 30+ CEOs, experienced experts, and proven approaches.
  • An actively involved partner
The Rebels team participates in decision-making — from assessing the business model to scaling the company — rather than simply monitoring progress from the sidelines.

Ambitions for 2026

Of the 11 businesses currently in the portfolio, six were launched this year. Going forward, the fund plans to further increase the pace of new launches and continue scaling Boosta’s investment arm.

With Rebels, Boosta continues to develop an investment model in which a fund can serve both as a source of capital and an operational partner for entrepreneurs.

“The core idea behind Rebels is not to interfere for the sake of control or add complexity for the sake of process. It is to create the conditions in which strong teams can build and scale businesses faster.

We are not simply looking for good ideas. What matters to us is who will build the business and whether that person has the potential to become a strong founder,” says Yaroslav Svyrydiuk, Managing Partner at Rebels.
