Kevych Solutions is working on the launch of a new startup – KABAN

Lviv-based IT company Kevych Solutions is working on the launch of KABAN, a new startup designed to help IT companies manage their operational processes, teams, and work-related data.

KABAN is currently in active development and preparing for its market launch. The team continues to refine the product, test it against real internal processes, and shape its positioning ahead of a full-scale launch. KABAN is not yet available as a fully commercial product. At this stage, the team is focused on preparing it for its future entry into the market.

How KABAN started

KABAN began as an internal tool at Kevych Solutions. It was created in response to real operational challenges that emerged as the company scaled: information was spread across different systems, reporting and approvals were handled manually, and processes that worked well for a small team became increasingly complex as the business grew.

The tool evolved alongside Kevych Solutions and was used internally for several years. During this time, the team invested 15,508 hours in its development and continuous improvement.

That experience has now become the foundation for a separate startup that the team continues to develop.

KABAN brings the company’s key operational processes together in one workspace:

• Reporting – daily reports, time tracking, approvals, and monthly reporting.
• Leave management – leave requests, balances, policies, and approvals.
• People management – employees, roles, access permissions, team structure, and onboarding.
• Project management – projects, teams, workload, access, and workflows.
• Analytics – data on reporting, team workload, projects, and resource utilization.
• Communication – company news, internal updates, and team communication.
• Board – visual task management, workflows, and team progress tracking.
• Payments & Payroll – salary calculations, taxes, salary reviews, and final payments. Some financial functionality is still under development.

The team is also working on mobile versions of KABAN for iOS and Android.

Who KABAN Is being built for

KABAN is primarily focused on IT and digital service companies that are scaling and facing increasingly complex operational processes.

The platform is designed to support different roles across a company:

• Founders & CEOs – managing key operational processes and business data.
• Project managers & Delivery – working with projects, teams, workload, and reporting.
• HR & Operations – managing employees, roles, leave, and organizational processes.
• Finance & Accounting – working with data related to working hours, salaries, and payments.

From an internal tool to a startup

KABAN was built around the real needs of Kevych Solutions rather than being developed solely around assumptions about the market.

As Kevych Solutions grew, its internal processes and requirements evolved as well. KABAN gradually expanded from a reporting tool into a platform covering people, projects, resources, and operational data.

Now, the team is taking the next step: turning the internal tool into a standalone product and preparing KABAN for its market launch.

At this stage, the team is not positioning KABAN as a fully launched commercial product. Instead, the current focus is on expanding its functionality, testing different approaches, shaping the product vision, and preparing for its future launch.

Today, KABAN is a startup in the making — one that grew out of Kevych Solutions’ real experience of scaling a business and is now preparing for the next stage of its development.
