Founders’ Dialogue: Society and Veterans — How to Bridge the Communication Gap

How can we integrate veterans into the workplace and build healthy collaboration between established teams and new colleagues? These questions will be at the heart of the upcoming Founders’ Dialogue in Lviv.

This event is designed for C-level executives who want to gain deeper insights into veterans’ adaptation to civilian life and learn how to create a corporate environment where diverse experiences become a shared advantage.

Event Speakers:

Andriy Zholob — Veteran, Deputy Mayor of Lviv for Veterans’ Affairs. From 2022 to 2024, he commanded the medical company of the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade. Before his military service, Andriy worked as a trauma surgeon, event host, radio DJ, and guitarist in the band “Beton.”

Volodymyr Rudkovskyi — Veteran, mentor at the Unbroken Rehabilitation Center. From 2022 to 2023, he commanded the assault company of the 117th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Prior to his military service, Volodymyr worked at the Sarny City Council.

Our guests will share their personal experiences and discuss how to develop leadership qualities, management skills, and emotional resilience.

Topics to be covered:

  • Veterans’ expectations when returning to the workplace
  • Integrating veterans into the corporate environment
  • Communication strategies and building trust

After the discussion, participants can join a shooting masterclass at the range. Training will be conducted under the supervision of qualified instructors and includes detailed safety instructions. Attendees will practice aiming, develop basic weapon-handling skills, and receive individual guidance.

Please note: Participants cover the cost of ammunition themselves.

Following a full day of activities, participants are invited to continue the conversation in a relaxed setting. Networking at Veteran Café offers a great opportunity to make valuable connections, share experiences, and find potential partners for future projects.
