Academy for Heroes NGO Opens Doors to the IT World for Veterans: Free “Marketing and Sales in IT” Course Starts

The Academy for Heroes NGO continues its mission to support veterans by creating opportunities for their successful careers in the IT sector. On April 16, 2025, the free 10-month course “Marketing and Sales in IT” will begin, providing veterans with not only the necessary knowledge but also a real chance to secure employment in IT companies.

What do course participants gain?

The course curriculum is tailored to the specifics of the IT market and includes:

• Comprehensive training in key aspects of marketing and sales in the IT sector;
• A Soft Skills module, covering effective communication, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and time management — essential for a smooth transition to civilian life and successful integration into the IT environment;
• Practical case studies, one-on-one mentoring, and internships in top IT companies;
• Career support and job placement assistance.

The courses are developed with the help of IT experts, designed specifically for war veterans, to help them confidently transition into a new life with a promising career. The training is held in person, twice a week, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, in modern venues located in the heart of Lviv.
