For the first time in Ukraine, a unique course on human-robot interaction has been launched for students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the Ukrainian Catholic University. The course was developed by Yurii Haliuk, a Customer Experience Lead at the international IT company ELEKS. And Petro Konovalov, a Board Member, became a students’ tutor.
“I want the younger generation to understand that robotics is not something from outer space. These are tasks that can and should be solved. And that it is really interesting and necessary for Ukraine,” says Petro Konovalov, a Board Member of ELEKS.
The course will provide students with the knowledge and skills to create robotic systems that meet modern requirements and ethical standards of society.

The course places special emphasis on the topics of smart prosthetics and the perception of drones in the context of war.
