On July 17, a mobile blood donation took place near the Lviv office of the IT company ELEKS to support patients of Superhumans, a modern war trauma center.
The event brought together 64 donors: ELEKS specialists, their friends and relatives, as well as colleagues from neighboring IT companies N-iX and Gameloft Ukraine. In total, around 27 liters of blood were collected — enough to carry out 6-10 complex surgical operations, each of which may require between 2 and 5 liters of blood.
The event was organized by ELEKS and the Superhumans team, with the blood donation taking place in a mobile collection unit — a bus equipped with medical staff that arrived on-site.
This was the first blood donation initiative of such scale near ELEKS’ Lviv office. Meanwhile, in Ivano-Frankivsk office, such events have already become a regular practice.
