GlobalLogic Receives DOU Award for the Best Socially Responsible Initiative

DOU awarded GlobalLogic in the category “Best Socially Responsible IT Initiative of 2024” for supporting prosthetics for Ukrainian soldiers. In 2024, thanks to a donation of UAH 6 million, 4 heroes from the Superhumans center received the latest prosthetics. The company has also developed software for bionic prostheses.

6 million UAH to help Ukrainian veterans

These funds were used to support the Superhumans prosthetics center, which installs prostheses for about 50 people every month. Also, thanks to GlobalLogic specialists, during internal events they collected more than 400,000 UAH for the needs of the center.

“We are honored to help superheroes get their superpowers back.  Right now, we have a jar open to support Superhumans: all the money raised by March 28 will be doubled by the company and donated to the center”, comments Anna Shcherbakova, Vice President, Head of Operations, GlobalLogic Ukraine.

Four Ukrainian soldiers have already received the latest bionic prostheses: Volodymyr, Danylo, Dmytro and Heorhiy.

Software for bionic prostheses from GlobalLogic

GlobalLogic engineers have developed software for bionic prostheses that uses artificial intelligence to improve their functionality. This development has received international recognition and won the Hitachi Inspiration of the Year Award in London. Currently, the company continues to work on new solutions, including a mobile application for customizing and training with bionic prostheses.
