Yuliya Shtukaturova, Senior Vice President of Engineering, and Kateryna Hubaryeva, Associate Vice President, Head of People, are recognized in the rating “Top 25 Women Leaders in IT Services”, issued by Forbes.
Yulia Shtukaturova manages a third of GlobalLogic business in Europe. These are hundreds of R&D projects, mainly in such areas as telecommunications, media, medicine, and technology. They are being developed at GlobalLogic offices in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv. In her position, Yulia works directly with the top management and directors of certain lines of business.
Kateryna Hubaryeva has over 17 years of experience in HRt, 13 of which are in the IT industry. Kateryna develops and implements strategies for talent management, as well as for the encouragement and retention of specialists. In addition, Kateryna creates support and development programs for engineers and managers.
There is a noticeable trend of increasing the number of women in the IT industry. According to DOU, it increased from 20% to 25% in 2017-2020. This trend is also observed in relation to the management. GlobalLogic has many examples of women becoming heads of departments, members of top management and even board of directors. For example, women make up 40% of the company’s associate vice presidents in Ukraine.
