How IT business is developing in Europe – GlobalLogic Europe Region Head visited Lviv

Yulia Shtukaturova, Europe Region Head in GlobalLogic, Hitachi Group Company, made a working visit to Lviv. The focus was on the development of GlobalLogic’s business in Ukraine, strengthening its presence in Europe, and the company’s social initiatives.

GlobalLogic in Ukraine: the largest hub and new projects

Ukraine remains GlobalLogic’s largest hub in Europe, generating more than 50% of regional revenue. Thanks to the effectiveness of the teams and the resilience of the specialists, the financial performance in Ukraine remains at the level of 2021.

The company’s main focus industries in Europe include automotive, healthcare, telecommunications, media, and industrial sectors. AI is one of the main drivers of growth, and Ukrainian specialists have significant experience with AI, playing a crucial role in the company’s key projects, such as VelocityAI.

“Ukraine is one of the key countries for GlobalLogic. We are focused on growth: in the first quarter of 2025, we attracted 15 new partners. The Ukrainian team is involved in nine of these projects,” comments Yulia Shtukaturova. “I admire the resilience of the Ukrainian team, which, despite the challenges, maintains the highest engagement in Europe and productivity remains at pre-war levels. We have a lot to be proud of. GlobalLogic is committed to supporting the further development of projects in Ukraine, attracting new ones, and strengthening the industry that drives the Ukrainian economy.”

Social initiatives and cooperation with the community

During her visit to Lviv, Yuliia Shtukaturova met with representatives of the Lviv City Council. The parties discussed the prospects of the IT sector in Ukraine and Lviv, which is one of the country’s key technology hubs.

The meeting began at the Information Center of the Field of Honorary Burials. A navigation system is installed there, helping visitors find their way to each gravesite. This system was developed by GlobalLogic engineers in collaboration with the Lviv City Council.

At the Field of Honorary Burials, Yuliia and the GlobalLogic Ukraine team honored the memory of their fallen colleagues, Volodymyr Rybalka and Vasyl Dovbush.

Yuliia also visited Superhumans, a nationwide modern center for war trauma, where she met with its representatives and veterans. GlobalLogic has been collaborating with the center for several years: in 2023, the company donated 6 million UAH for prosthetics, and in 2025, it doubled the donation collected by specialists during internal events for Superhumans, transferring over 2 million UAH. The funds from this latest donation will be used for targeted evacuation of the wounded after injury.

In addition, GlobalLogic’s Ukrainian team has developed software for bionic prostheses using artificial intelligence.
