Indeema Educational Initiative: Results of the “Indeema Teaches Embedded” Intensive

March 17, 2026 — Lviv, Ukraine – Indeema, an expert in Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, announces the successful completion of its intensive educational bootcamp, “Indeema Teaches Embedded.” Following a rigorous selection process from nearly 40 applicants with creative project concepts, 7 students were invited to participate. Over weeks of intensive training, they transformed university theory into real-world engineering skills.

Deep Dive into Embedded Development: Inside the Intensive

The program followed the “Listen and Do” methodology. Students worked directly at the Indeema office, mastering complex technology stacks — from basic Git and CMake to ESP32 firmware development, FreeRTOS, and building systems using the Yocto Project (Bitbake) for Raspberry Pi 4.

“This was a great opportunity to gain hands-on development experience, an IoT foundation, and essential hardware skills to build upon. As practice shows, interviewers value seeing Indeema courses on a resume,” says Ihor Kravets, a 4th-year Software Engineering student at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and a program graduate.

Expert Mentorship: Providing Deep Industry Insights

The students’ success was driven by daily support from the company’s Senior Engineers, who shared years of professional expertise:

  • Ihor Berizka (Senior Embedded Systems Engineer): With over 8 years of commercial experience in Linux system services, Ihor guided students through Linux internals, multithreading, and complex architectural solutions.
  • Andrii Serednytskyi (Senior Embedded Systems Engineer): An expert in end-to-end IoT solutions and specialized MCU firmware. Andrii helped students master peripherals, wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, BLE), and cloud integration via MQTT.

Ihor Berizka, program mentor, highlighted the high level of preparation in this year’s group:

“The participants impressed us with their persistence. They didn’t just complete tasks; they sought individual approaches to solving engineering challenges. This kind of independence and engineering curiosity is exactly what we value most at Indeema. It’s great to see such a significant leap in skills in just one month.”

What’s Next?

For the students, this month served as an intensive professional “test drive.” In addition to certificates, participants gained real-world cases for their portfolios and experience in team-based development. Indeema remains in contact with the graduates and looks forward to continuing cooperation with the top performers as Trainee Specialists.
