April 2, 2025 – Indeema Software and Tykho Electronics have officially launched the nationwide IoT Challenge: Drone Tech competition. This initiative is open to students and postgraduate students from Ukrainian universities who are eager to test their skills in developing drone, electronic reconnaissance, and communication solutions.
For the third consecutive year, Indeema Software, in collaboration with Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, is organizing this competition to educate and promote Internet of Things (IoT) technologies among students. This year, the IoT Challenge: Drone Tech is expanding to attract talent from across Ukraine and welcomes a new partner, Tykho Electronics.
The competition invites teams interested in implementing their ideas or projects in hardware and/or software solutions within the unmanned technology sector.
How to Participate?
To join the challenge, teams (with no participant limit) must fill out the registration form and submit a project idea description. Participants will have one month to develop their project with expert guidance from Indeema Software and Tykho Electronics, who will also provide necessary components if required.
The top three teams will be awarded grants: 20,000 UAH/12,000 UAH/8,000 UAH.
A jury of software and hardware development specialists from Indeema Software and Tykho Electronics will evaluate the projects. The jury will be chaired by Dr. Ivan Karbovnyk, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Head of the Department of Radiophysics and Computer Technologies at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Companies invite students to take on the challenge, develop their own IoT projects, and gain valuable experience by working alongside top industry experts.
