Intellias Donates Adaptive Bicycles to Invictus Games Community in Ukraine

In early November 2025, Intellias donated adaptive bicycles to support the training of members of the Invictus Games community in Ukraine. In total, Intellias has allocated 1 million UAH for the purchase of adaptive sports equipment through the Invictus Games partnership.

The donation during Invictus Day in Ternopil — an event that brought together veterans and active service members, their families, and partners to promote adaptive sports and mutual support. Invictus Day was organized with support of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the Invictus Games Ukraine community, the Center for Strategic Communications Stratcom Ukraine, the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, and the Ternopil City Council.

The adaptive bicycles that Intellias donated are designed for veterans and active service members with various types of injuries:

  • Back injuries, balance disorders, or arm amputations — bicycles with semi-recumbent or reclined seating positions that ensure stability and comfortable body support.
  • Spinal injuries — horizontal models that reduce pressure on the spine and allow for safe training.
  • Visual impairments — tandem bicycles, on which a sighted pilot rides together with a visually impaired athlete.

This approach allows for highly personalized training and ensures equal access to sports for all veterans and active service members.

“We believe that adaptive sports create equal opportunities, rebuild confidence, develop endurance, and foster a sense of belonging. Our partnership with the Invictus Games is part of our contribution to building a barrier-free Ukraine and supporting those who defend our country.” — Vitaly Sedler, CEO and Co-founder of Intellias.

“Each contribution like this means more than just equipment. It’s about the support that our veterans feel on their journey of recovery. We are deeply grateful to the Intellias team for their sensitivity, understanding, and belief in the power of adaptive sports — in the power to move forward, no matter what.” — Vira Pasishniuk, Coordinator of the Invictus Games in Ukraine.
