Intellias traditionally wraps up the year by supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This time, together with its specialists, the company is donating UAH 2 million to purchase Taras-P interceptor drones for the air defense unit of the Third Assault Brigade. These drones will help protect Ukrainian airspace from enemy UAVs.

Taras-P is a Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle designed to intercept aerial targets, including strike and reconnaissance drones. It reduces the burden on air defense systems and serves as an effective alternative to costly surface-to-air missiles.
The drones can operate at altitudes of up to 6,000 meters, reach speeds of 160 km/h, and have an operational range of 30 km. Taras-P is equipped with an analog thermal imaging camera and a proprietary stable video communication system. The airframe, warhead, and key components are manufactured in Ukraine.
“Taras-P interceptor drones are in extremely high demand, with long waiting lists across military units. Each drone costs approximately UAH 100,000, yet it can effectively replace an expensive missile used to down an enemy UAV. The cost-effectiveness of Taras-P is truly remarkable, which is why everyone wants them. Intellias’ UAH 2 million donation is a powerful boost to our air defense capabilities and will help our fighters inflict even greater losses on the enemy,” representatives of the Third Assault Brigade say.
These interceptor drones are capable of destroying aerial targets worth tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars, including Shahed drones, Orlan UAVs, ZALA, SuperCam, Lancet, and SKAT systems. With the funds raised by Intellias and its team, 20 drones will be procured. They are expected to be deployed by the military as early as December.
“Every year, the Intellias team concludes the year by supporting the military. For us, it is crucial that this support addresses real and urgent needs. Strengthening air defense is a direct contribution to protecting civilians, cities, and critical infrastructure.” — Vitaliy Sedler, CEO and Co-founder of Intellias.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Intellias has been consistently supporting Ukraine’s Defense Forces, aligning its contributions with significant dates and company milestones. For this year’s Independence Day, Intellias donated five electronic intelligence systems to the Khartiia Brigade. Previously, the company contributed to the procurement of FlyEye and Leleka-100 UAVs, invested in enhancing Vector drones together with Quantum-Systems, and supported the “We Have to Live Here 2.0” initiative by the Come Back Alive Foundation and Kyivstar. Intellias also continues to support ongoing fundraising efforts in response to the evolving needs of the military.
To date, the total amount of Intellias’ assistance to Ukraine’s Defense Forces has exceeded UAH 127 million.
