On April 30, Lviv hosted IT Meets Product — the first professional conference in the 2026 IT Meets, organized by Lviv IT Cluster. The event took place at LEM Station and brought together founders, CPOs, product managers, and IT leaders to talk about what building products actually looks like — through practice, mistakes, and adaptation.

A panel discussion featuring speakers from Simulmedia, Reface, SQUAD, and MODUS X opened the conference with a discussion of AI’s role in the product cycle. Participants agreed: AI has become a baseline for competitiveness, but it creates an illusion of complete efficiency. The volume of work hasn’t decreased — its nature has changed. Proper AI integration saves time and money, but without engineering expertise and empathy for the customer, technology won’t replace people. “The key skill is understanding what the client actually needs. AI won’t replace you there,” was one of the defining thoughts of the discussion.
Speakers shared their experience entering international markets — from choosing the first market to global scaling. The conversation covered the real cost of finding PMF, competition for user attention, false signals and the importance of market context. The main takeaway: going global requires thorough research — from culture to legal — and the courage to make bold decisions.
Representatives from Silpo Ecom, ADVA Soft, SalesBox, and Scimus spoke openly about product team mistakes: failed hypotheses, costly decisions, and what eventually grew from them. The advice that came from each speaker: test hypotheses first, then scale. Watch for changes not only inside the company, but around it.
Oksana Holubets, product manager of the My Kyivstar app, showed how to turn customer experience into measurable indicators — NPS, CSAT, Retention, LTV — and demonstrate their real business impact through analytics.
The event wrapped up with a prize draw of certificates from IT Club Loyalty and networking. Photos can be found via the link.
IT Meets continues on May 28 in Ivano-Frankivsk — IT Meets AI, exploring how artificial intelligence is changing the way we work today. Registration is open.
