Jetbeep Joins Lviv IT Cluster

Jetbeep is a provider of autonomous parcel locker technology and an operator of open networks built on autonomous parcel lockers. The uniqueness of the technology lies in the fact that the parcel locker is fully autonomous and powered by a battery, while also supporting all existing features and UX flows found in traditional parcel lockers powered by the electrical grid. In other words, it addresses the main pain point of market players who prefer to supplement their networks with autonomous parcel lockers but want to standardize the flow of their network for customers and couriers.

Jetbeep’s technology is already being used by leaders in the logistics market in the EU. The company collaborates with Latvijas Pasts, GLS, and Omniva. Jetbeep is now participating in 3 tenders of European market leaders.

In 2024, the company will implement a pilot project of an open network of parcel lockers in Berlin, together with the partner Rodina EG.

Jetbeep has two founders — CEO Valery Chekalkin and CTO Oleh Hordiichuk. The team consists of 15 people from different cities in Ukraine, as well as in Portugal, Canada, and Poland.

Jetbeep collaborates with a number of funds, both military and humanitarian. They provide financial assistance as well as organizational support (in fundraising and creating marketing materials). The company has already received several acknowledgments and awards. After each business trip abroad, the Jetbeep team returns with a full car of humanitarian aid, which they either purchase themselves or gather through volunteers in Poland, Austria, and Germany.

“The full-scale invasion significantly affected our company, as the majority of our clients at that time were Ukrainian companies. Initially, in one day, we lost almost all of our income and it was not clear what to do next. However, we didn’t give up and quickly started to rebuild the business – we changed our product and began to look for clients abroad. And it paid off. Although our clients were very concerned about whether we could fulfill our obligations to them during constant rocket attacks, power outages, and so on. Nevertheless, we were able to survive this stage. Also, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, two of our employees volunteered to defend our country and are still successfully doing so to this day. Recently, another one of our employees was mobilized into the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We eagerly await their return and keep their positions open until the end of the war or their demobilization,” says Oleh Hordiichuk, CTO of Jetbeep.

“We are very pleased that the Jetbeep team has joined the Lviv IT cluster, and we are already involved in several community projects. I am confident that our collaboration will bring new opportunities and contribute to the development of both our projects and the Ukrainian IT industry as a whole,” said Valery Chekalkin, CEO of Jetbeep.
