Lviv IT Cluster Launches Data Collection for IT Research: Salary Report

On April 1, 2026, data collection begins for the new edition of IT Research: Salary Report — one of the key analytical B2B tools for tech companies that helps them make well-informed decisions on compensation, budgeting, and hiring planning.

IT Research: Salary Report is created based on real data provided by tech companies and is released twice a year. This allows businesses to work with the most up-to-date figures without aging data for inflation or market fluctuations.

Who the Salary Report Is For

The B2B analytics is useful for CEOs, HR Directors, CFOs, Total Rewards Specialists, Compensation & Benefits Managers, and department heads responsible for reward strategy, hiring, and the company’s financial stability.

“Compensation is one of the largest expense categories in tech companies, and mistakes here can be costly. The Salary Report helps reduce risks: it allows companies to check whether they remain competitive, whether pay levels are fair within teams, and whether expenses reflect the real market situation,” comments Yaryna Voznyak, Research Lead at Lviv IT Cluster.

Most companies that regularly use the Salary Report highlight its practical impact:

  • more accurate compensation budget planning;
  • confident decisions on opening new positions;
  • hiring optimization;
  • better cost predictability.

Why Companies Should Join the Data Collection

Participation in the Salary Report is an opportunity not only to gain access to analytics but also to influence the quality and completeness of market benchmarks.

Companies that contribute data receive several benefits:

A favorable price for the report. Participants who provide data receive the Salary Report on special terms.

A contribution to the development of the tech community. Data sharing helps build transparent market benchmarks that strengthen the Ukrainian tech industry as a whole.

An invitation to Peer Talks. Companies that share their data will have the opportunity to join a closed Peer Talks meeting, where business representatives discuss compensation market trends, reward practices, and current challenges.

“Being a data contributor is always about partnership. Companies that join not only receive favorable access conditions to the report — they help shape an accurate market snapshot. This is an example of healthy industry cooperation that strengthens the Ukrainian tech market,” notes Yaryna Voznyak.
