Lviv IT Cluster Showcases Ukraine’s Tech Ecosystem at Taiwan Expo 2026

Lviv IT Cluster participated in Taiwan Expo 2026 at the invitation of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). Held in Warsaw on June 22–24, the exhibition brought together representatives of businesses, government institutions, and technology organizations from around the world to foster international cooperation and explore new partnership opportunities.

As part of the expo, Lviv IT Cluster held a series of meetings with representatives of businesses, industry associations, and institutions from Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Lithuania, and Poland. One of the key highlights was an introduction to Cynthia Kiang, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of Taiwan (MOEA).

During the meetings, Lviv IT Cluster presented its key initiatives and explored collaboration opportunities with international partners. Among the projects introduced were IT Arena — the largest tech conference in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, uniting technology leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and startups from around the world — and CodeUA, a platform that connects global companies with reliable Ukrainian tech partners and teams.

“We are grateful to TAITRA for inviting Lviv IT Cluster to participate in Taiwan Expo 2026. The event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase our initiatives and highlight the strength of Ukraine’s technology industry to the international community. Over three days, we held dozens of meetings with companies, industry associations, and government institutions from across the globe. What stood out most was the strong interest in Ukraine’s tech sector. Ukrainian professionals, technology companies, and innovative solutions have become an integral part of the global technology ecosystem, while the experience our businesses have gained over the past few years offers unique value to international partners. We continue to build relationships with potential partners and are confident that these global connections will bring new opportunities for Ukrainian companies and contribute to the growth of Ukraine’s technology ecosystem,” said Svitlana Skrypka, Head of International Cooperation at Lviv IT Cluster.

One of the exhibition’s key events was the Ukraine Rebuild Seminar and Matchmaking Event, organized by TAITRA in partnership with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). Participants discussed opportunities for international cooperation in Ukraine’s reconstruction and took part in a series of business meetings with companies and organizations interested in launching joint initiatives.

Lviv IT Cluster also took part in the presentation of Ukraine’s business potential and the Lviv region together with the Lviv City Council, the European Business Association (EBA), Iron Cluster, and the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP).

Following Taiwan Expo 2026, Lviv IT Cluster has initiated discussions on potential partnerships with new companies and industry organizations. These conversations are expected to lay the groundwork for future joint initiatives and strengthen cooperation between Ukraine’s technology sector and the international innovation community.
