Lviv IT Cluster, together with its member companies, has delivered tablets, networking equipment, and imaging devices for enemy target detection to units securing the state border and areas of active combat. It will support rapid response and the detection of enemy targets. The total value of the equipment amounts to UAH 1.4 million.
The transfer took place as part of the Guardian project, one of the Victory Projects’ initiatives, which aims to strengthen the technological capabilities of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
The event was attended by Stepan Veselovskyi, CEO of Lviv IT Cluster, Yurii Ohonovskyi, Deputy CEO of Lviv IT Cluster, and Colonel Oleh Trofimenko, Head of the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment.
“This isn’t our first time working with border guards — and we continue to support them with what they need most: technology. Modern warfare requires quick decisions and precise reactions, which is why, together with tech companies, we invest in solutions that can save lives and bring us closer to victory,” said Stepan Veselovskyi, CEO of Lviv IT Cluster.
The delivered equipment will soon be installed at strategically important locations to enhance the frontline units’ effectiveness.
“This equipment will be a significant support for our units in the east of the country, and not only there. It will strengthen their defense capabilities and increase the level of security. Thanks to this, we will be able to more effectively cover the approaches to important facilities and equipment, which today play a key role in resisting armed aggression from Russia,” emphasized Colonel Oleh Trofimenko, Head of the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment.
The Guardian project was launched in May 2023. Since then, thanks to the support of more than 300 member companies, over than 27 million UAH have been allocated for the needs of border guards.
