On December 16, Lviv IT Cluster will hold the General Assembly Meeting for the member companies and partners. During the meeting, the Cluster team will talk about major projects and new initiatives in 2021 and present the latest data from IT Research 6.0 – a large-scale annual study of IT business development, which has expanded its geography this year by adding one more city. The General Assembly Meeting will provide a fruitful atmosphere for networking with IT industry leaders, Cluster’s current projects joining and plans for the future.
The IT Research 6.0, a closed version available for the community’s members only, will be released at the meeting. Since 2015, Lviv IT Cluster has conducted five such studies, and the results of the sixth one will be presented at this year’s final General Assembly Meeting. IT Research 6.0 will provide relevant information on the IT industry structure in Lviv, IT specialists’ socio-demographic profile and number, the corona crisis impact on the IT industry, human capital inflow, the IT industry economic effect for the city, etc. In 2021 Ivano-Frankivsk IT Cluster joined the IT Research 6.0 for a more extensive study of the IT industry. The project becomes a research network, and other technical hubs of the country will join it in the future. The research data provide an opportunity to focus on the industry and market trends for interested businesses, partners, potential investors, IT companies that want to grow and develop in Lviv.
At the meeting, a detailed report on the Cluster’s work in the outgoing year and the Performance Plan for 2022 will be presented. Next year, Lviv IT Cluster plans to launch new educational projects, particularly the mentoring support program, new IT Expert programs, the project to update the computer studies at schools. In 2022, Cluster will upgrade its IT Club Loyalty program. In addition to the five existing communities of Lviv IT Cluster, the Cyber Security, Low Code and Product Management new communities will be launched in the near future, bringing together professionals with shared interests and goals to discuss important industry issues and share experiences. It should be added that the meeting Members will get to know the first details about IT Arena 2022.
