Mate academy is an Ed-tech startup that helps people get into Tech free before employment. Сompany has more than 120 employees, 60+ developers among them.
The main product is a technological platform where people learn coding. 2000 students places worldwide with 90% success rate. Since 2022 Mate academy scaled its operations worldwide. Students from UK, EU, Asia, Africa, the US, and Canada learned to code on Mate academy platform and found jobs as software engineers. The head office is located in Kyiv. Currently, Mate academy offers employees a remote-first format also.
Even before the start of the full-scale war, Mate Academy did not cooperate with Russia in principle and never enrolled students from the aggressor country. The ed-tech startup systematically supports volunteer funds that help the Armed Forces. In particular, from February 2022, about 6 million UAH were transferred to support Ukraine.
Also, service members who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine after February 24 will be able to study for free at full-time programs without further financial obligations regarding payments after employment.
