One More Year of Support: How Intellias Consistently Helps Ukraine’s Armed Forces

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Intellias has made supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine its unwavering priority. Every year, the company strengthens this direction, turning numbers into essential reinforcements for the military in the hot zones. On Armed Forces Day, we summarize what has been done to thank the team and remind everyone: every contribution is a decisive help for someone.

“Intellias was founded in a country that is today fighting for its future. Therefore, supporting the army is a strategic responsibility for us. We stand beside those who defend the foundation of our work and development – a safe and free Ukraine. And we will support them for as long as it takes.”Vitaly Sedler, Co-founder and CEO of Intellias.

A Comprehensive Approach That Works Daily

Currently, 116 of our colleagues serve in Ukraine’s Armed Forces. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Intellias has built a stable support system for the military, which operates without pause. This includes:

  • Ongoing fundraising among colleagues
  • Weekly company contributions

This allows the military – and especially our colleagues –to be provided with transport, communication devices, technology, personal equipment, and other essential items. Over the course of the war, more than 150 units have received support. Together with specialists, the company has delivered 106 vehicles, 339 communication devices, and 1,250 units of other equipment to the front. Total contributions from the company and the team since 2022 have exceeded 127 million UAH.

“Unfortunately, the war hasn’t gone away. It’s very important that we are not forgotten. I’m grateful to everyone who supports, for every hryvnia and every donation. It really helps.”Hlib Sotula, IMD Operations Manager, now serving in the Armed Forces.

To make assistance effective, the company has a military coordinator who communicates daily with the troops, processes needs, and ensures rapid delivery.

Strategic Projects: Technological Advantage and Air Defense Support

A separate part of our systematic support are projects that create a strategic advantage for the Ukrainian army. Intellias invests in solutions that give the Armed Forces more capabilities on the battlefield, allowing them to work more precisely, faster, and safer.

One area of investment was supporting Ukrainian air defense. In partnership with the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Lviv IT Cluster, Hurkit, and Angry Corgy, we helped modernize command and analytical centers, completely upgraded computer and network equipment, delivered VR simulators for training mobile air defense units, and provided specialized monitors and field-ready technology. This directly improves the ability to defend Ukrainian cities from missile and drone attacks.

Equally important are projects aimed at developing aerial reconnaissance. In 2022, Intellias funded the purchase of the FlyEye system for defenders in Kherson. In 2023, the company donated 5 million UAH to the Come Back Alive Foundation for the purchase of Ukrainian Leleka 100 drones. For technological strengthening of the Armed Forces, Intellias develops strategic partnerships. In 2024, together with German company Quantum Systems, the company equipped Vector reconnaissance drones with special antennas, investing almost 4 million UAH. In 2025, the company contributed to the development of the “Khartiya” unit, donating 2 million UAH for the purchase of Duna electronic reconnaissance systems.

Intellias also supports ground drone technologies. Within the joint “We Have to Live Here 2.0” campaign, the company contributed to the purchase of robotic demining systems, and together with the Veteranka Foundation – to the purchase of drones for evacuating the wounded from dangerous areas.

Internal Assistance Ecosystem: From Platforms to Charity Events

Intellias’ systematic support is not only about large projects but also an internal ecosystem of engagement developed over the past years. The company created opportunities for volunteering: paid volunteer time, support for donation campaigns, and internal tools for fundraising.

One of them is IntelliShare, a platform where colleagues launch fundraisers, unite around initiatives, and quickly fulfill military needs.

Another is charitable activities accompanying corporate events: garage sales, fairs, meetups, and internal lotteries. Recently, the company launched IntelliAuction. In just two months, it has raised over 67,000 UAH for volunteer initiatives. On the auction, colleagues and partners list unique lots, with dozens of participants competing. The most popular lot was a bottle of “Artemivske” champagne from Bakhmut, which received 42 bids. IntelliAuction is open to all IntelliPeople: anyone can list a lot and thereby boost their own or a partner’s fundraiser.

There is also a program for donating used equipment. Requests can be submitted by both military colleagues and units directly. For example, in 2025 Intellias donated 272 units of technology and office equipment to charity: laptops, PCs, monitors, printers, keyboards, other electronics, and furniture. This systematic support benefits organizations, educational centers, and volunteer foundations needing reliable equipment.

The company has an active volunteer community: over 170 IntelliVolunteers constantly support the army and civil initiatives. Some repair and deliver vehicles for the Armed Forces, some 3D-print parts, others organize first aid training, assemble kits, and stock essential equipment. This is an organic movement of mutual support, which emerged naturally in response to the realities of war and societal needs.

“It’s more than just things, money, or vehicles. It gives us motivation, faith in ourselves and our nation, even despite disappointments and difficult circumstances, to continue the joint struggle. Thank you to everyone who also believes. Don’t stop – we can succeed together,”Oleksii Bozhko, Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure) at Intellias, now serving in the Armed Forces.

Intellias also regularly holds Blood Donation Days, bringing colleagues together around the important initiative of giving blood. In the most recent campaign, 74 donors collected over 33 liters of blood, helping doctors save lives across the country. This is one example of how a corporate community can create real impact in critical areas.

Supporting Veterans and Communities

A key part of Intellias’ systematic work is supporting those returning from service. The veteran support program helps specialists adapt, access necessary resources, reskill, and return to civilian life. This year, we created the Family Resilience Community, connecting relatives of those serving in the Armed Forces or affected by the war.

Intellias also donated 1 million UAH to rebuild Okhmatdyt after a missile strike and became a key donor in the Lviv IT Cluster project restoring buildings damaged by Russian attacks. Additionally, Vitaly Sedler, Co-founder and CEO, funded an art initiative by Zoe Sever. As part of art therapy, children painted a bomb shelter in a Kharkiv children’s hospital, turning it into a warm, supportive space.

A separate initiative, Wall of Honor, preserves memory and a culture of gratitude within the company.

Another area is support for adaptive sports. Intellias contributes to para-hockey, supporting the Lviv team of veterans and civilians with amputations, “Unbreakable”, and in November provided two individualized adaptive bicycles for the Ukrainian team participating in the Invictus Games.

Our Future Is Shared Responsibility

Intellias will continue supporting the Armed Forces consistently and strategically. Currently, the company and specialists are fundraising for interceptor drones as part of the traditional winter drive.

“It is important that Ukrainian companies remain a support for both the military and those around them,”Oleksandra Chuchko, Director of the Intellias Change Foundation.
