Ten Ukrainian border guards who overcame tough challenges have become the heroes of the motivational calendar “First with Honor: Stories of Invincibility”. All proceeds from sales will be directed towards establishing educational adaptation centers for rehabilitating and reintegrating veterans into civilian life.
The “First with Honor: Stories of Invincibility” calendar tells the stories of courageous servicemen who have retained their faith in themselves despite severe injuries and amputations. Today, they are actively engaged in sports, participate in competitions and achieve significant success, proving that no challenge can break their spirit.
This motivational calendar was created through the joint efforts of volunteers and like-minded individuals from the Kordon Race community. Anyone who donates at least 1,000 UAH to the fundraiser to create and develop educational centers for veterans’ reintegration into society will receive the calendar.
“I hope the calendar encourages people to believe in themselves and their strengths, even in the most challenging times,” says Petro Zhovnych, Deputy Head of the Lviv Military Medical Clinical Center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

As a reminder, since May 2023, the Lviv IT Cluster has been actively supporting servicemen of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine within the Guardian project, part of the Victory Projects initiative. Member companies of the association, clients and partners, and the Lviv IT Cluster have already purchased equipment for border guards worth over 25,650,000 UAH. Combat units have received multimedia equipment and components for online border monitoring, 3D printers, Starlink terminals, FPV drones, training equipment, and other necessary technology.
