In the first quarter of 2025, Ukraine’s tech exports brought in $1,57 billion. In March alone, export volumes rose by 1,9% compared to February, reaching $545 million — an increase of $10 million. The data comes from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
In March 2025, computer services accounted for 42,6% of Ukraine’s service exports — 3,6% higher than during the same period last year, when the share was 39%.
Ukraine’s total export revenue from all services in March this year reached $1,28 billion, which is $28 million or 2,2% more than in February.
For the second quarter in a row, EU countries remain the leading destination for IT service exports from Ukraine, surpassing the United States.
In March 2025, EU countries generated $205,4 million in foreign currency earnings for Ukraine, accounting for 37,7% of total tech exports. In comparison, the United States contributed $199,9 million, or 36,7% of total export revenues.
Overall, in the first quarter of this year, tech exports to the EU reached $601,2 million, representing 38,3% of total tech exports. Meanwhile, exports to the United States amounted to $545,3 million, or 34,8%, respectively.
