RENOME SMART has developed a self-service kiosk for people with disabilities

Creating an accessible environment is no longer an option – it is a necessity that concerns everyone, as the number of people with disabilities in Ukraine is growing, both as a result of the full-scale war and for other reasons. It reinforces the demand to implement inclusive solutions at all levels – from urban infrastructure to digital products.

RENOME SMART has developed an innovative inclusive solution to facilitate access to financial services for wheelchair users – a self-service kiosk with a rotating screen and software that allows one to switch the script between the screens. 

Wheelchair users can find it nearly impossible to work with the screens of standard self-service kiosks due to their height. The new inclusive solution is equipped with an additional screen on a rotating bracket at a convenient level. It provides an optimal viewing angle and the ability to perform all necessary financial transactions without assistance. The working screen is selected by simply touching the corresponding display and confirming the choice. If the rotating screen is not needed, one can fold it to the side wall of the terminal. 

Rotating screens are installed on self-service banking terminals, promoting barrier-free access to financial services and ensuring convenience and security for customers of banks and financial institutions. The pilot project is already being implemented in two Ukrainian banks.
