SAP Ukraine Joins Lviv IT Cluster

The company remains committed to supporting Ukraine. SAP has provided approximately EUR 70 million in assistance to Ukrainian clients in the form of free support services and cloud services during 2022-2023. This support also continues into the first quarter of 2024.

SAP actively contributes to the digitization of processes in the logistics of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, helping to support critical infrastructure in challenging conditions and facilitating more efficient medical procurement.

The company has provided free access for Ukrainian exporters to join the SAP Business Network, making their products visible to hundreds of thousands of buyers worldwide. This platform connects businesses worldwide, facilitating collaboration and trade.

SAP continues to invest in product localization to meet the needs of the Ukrainian market. Investments of nearly 2 million euros are planned for 2023-2024, including the localization of the ERP solution for medium-sized businesses “GROW with SAP.”

In 2023, SAP launched free training and certification courses for Ukrainians.

SAP actively supports social initiatives in Ukraine aimed at developing social entrepreneurship – SIA Ukraine, self-development skills, and building a safe learning environment – School of Resilience. For the fifth consecutive year, the company supports Ukrainian youth access to coding through the Meet and Code program, as well as collaborates with Junior Achievement, offering entrepreneurship and financial literacy courses. In 2023, SAP supported the #GirlsSTEM project – National Girls in Tech Day. Workshops and seminars organized by leading experts were attended by over 1000 participants from 14 regions of Ukraine.

SAP has partnered with charitable foundations “Children of Heroes” and “Believe in Yourself,” supporting children who have experienced difficulties during times of war by providing scholarships for students and assisting teachers in villages.

The company supports “Superhumans”, specializing in prosthetics, by providing medical assistance, rehabilitation, and psychological support. Additionally, SAP supports the non-profit organization “Razom”, which operates in areas such as healthcare for frontline heroes and medics, cultural and civic programs, assistance for the population, and advocacy for a safe and democratic country.

SAP supports “UAnimals”, which helps animals affected in conflict zones. The organization is involved in restoring shelters, launching rescue projects, purchasing and sending food, sorting medicines, evacuation, and more.

The total support for local and international charitable initiatives in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion amounts to over EUR 4.5 million.

At SAP, there is an initiative among employees working in Germany – EUR 70,000 have been collected, with 6 trips to Ukraine delivering 10 units of equipment and medical supplies worth EUR 9,000 which were handed over to frontline doctors.

SAP undoubtedly continues to support its employees in Ukraine, including meeting the urgent needs of seven colleagues on the front lines.
