The “father” of British GovTech Daniel Korski has joined Kitsoft

Daniel Korski, one of the founders of GovTech in Europe, has joined the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian IT company Kitsoft. His involvement will strengthen the company’s international expertise, which is already implementing digital government solutions in European and African countries.

Daniel Korski is a former adviser to UK Prime Minister David Cameron on digital transformation and previously co-founder of PUBLIC, which became one of the key drivers of GovTech development in Europe. Korski is also a co-organiser of The GovTech Summit — the largest European forum for government innovation.

Under his leadership, a number of public service digitalisation initiatives were launched in the United Kingdom. After the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Korski visited Kyiv and repeatedly expressed support for Ukraine and Ukrainian digital initiatives, emphasising that Ukraine has become an important hub for GovTech development.

“Ukraine is one of the most exciting platforms for GovTech development in the world. Teams like Kitsoft are creating solutions that not only transform public services — they rethink how governments interact with residents. I’m happy to join a team that is setting the pace for this change,” said Daniel Korski.

About Kitsoft: international recognition of Ukrainian technologies

Kitsoft is a Ukrainian technology company specialising in the development of GovTech solutions. The company is one of the key drivers of Ukraine’s digital transformation, which in recent years has risen to 5th place in the world in terms of digital public services development.

Kitsoft’s own development — the open source Liquio platform based on low-code and AI — has become the foundation for key national digital services, including the Diia portal, the eMalyatko service, e-Entrepreneur, EcoSystem, services on the Kyiv Digital portal and others.

Last year, Liquio was officially included in the international GovStack catalogue — a global initiative that defines standards for building digital public services around the world. This means that Liquio is recognised as a recommended solution for governments on the international market and can be used to launch public services in any country. The platform is also certified by the State Service of Special Communications of Ukraine with a G2 security assurance level, which allows its use for government systems with increased security requirements.

Expansion into international markets

In 2024–2025, Kitsoft is actively expanding its international presence. The company opened offices in Berlin and Brussels and has already launched the BelDoc startup for entrepreneurs in Belgium.

Recently, Kitsoft presented the Liquio platform and the intelligent assistant Liquio AI Assistant at the international GovTech Smart Country Convention (SCCON) 2025 in Germany.

In addition, Kitsoft specialists conducted a series of training workshops for government and municipal teams in Montenegro and Mauritania on launching digital public services.

According to Kitsoft CEO Oleksandr Iefremov, Daniel Korski’s involvement will support further integration of the company into the global GovTech community.

“Our partnership combines the British ‘classic school’ of GovTech with the speed and flexibility of Ukrainian innovation. Daniel Korski’s involvement strengthens Kitsoft’s international expertise and will support the company’s further integration into the global GovTech community — primarily in Europe and Africa. We are confident that Ukrainian technologies can compete at the highest level and become a standard for digital governance in different countries,” said Oleksandr Iefremov.
