The Lviv IT Cluster Team Met with Representatives of Crowd Ukraine Invest AG

On July 28, the Lviv IT Cluster team met with representatives of Crowd Ukraine Invest AG, a German joint-stock company specializing in impact investments. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss potential areas of cooperation in the development of educational and innovation infrastructure in Ukraine.

The delegation included Kurt Strasser and Roland Becker, experts in sustainable investment. One of Crowd Ukraine Invest AG’s key focus areas is the creation of a network of over 20 innovative spaces — co-livings and co-workings — designed for young entrepreneurs, tech specialists, researchers, and members of the creative community who are either returning to Ukraine or have been displaced due to the war.

During the meeting, the Lviv IT Cluster team presented CodeUA — a marketplace aimed at promoting Ukrainian tech companies on the global market — and shared their vision for establishing a Research Center in Lviv.

The Research Center will unite laboratories for interdisciplinary research, spaces for startup development, and entrepreneurial skills training. It will become a place where engineering students, researchers, and entrepreneurs can learn, work on their own projects, gain hands-on experience, and exchange knowledge.

“We strongly believe that investing in physical infrastructure that combines education, research, and entrepreneurship is one of the keys to rebuilding and transforming Ukraine’s economy. Meetings like this not only allow us to share our experience but also to identify areas of collaboration with partners who share this vision,” commented Yurii Ohonovskyi, Deputy CEO of Lviv IT Cluster.
